Final Six Weeks of the 07/08 Season

WOW, it is hard to believe that our season is quickly coming to an end but we still have a lot of wrestling to do and as a team we are getting closer to the tournament that we have been training for all year.  Wrestling requires a commitment unlike any other sport: the season is long, the practices are tough, and tournaments require traveling but the rewards will last our young men a lifetime.  I am so proud of the accomplishments and acheivments of our young wrestlers both on and off the mat.  Our young men have bonded and formed friendships.  I have seen several of the kids gain self respect and confidence through their wrestling experience.  I have seen kids that had past problems with grades and discipline make a complete turn around to become role models at their schools.  Lets continue to build on all of the positives that have come from this season and support our wrestlers all the way to the Missouri USA State Championships.  It is important that the kids make evey practice and wrestle in the final tournaments of the year to prepare for the ultimate goal of qualifying for state.  IF YOU MAKE IT TO STATE, YOU CAN WIN STATE!!!

Febrauary 23rd – Liberty Nationals and Nixa Youth Tournament

March 1st – 6U / Rookie State and Camdenton Youth Tournament

March 8th – District 6 Tournament in Nixa, MO

March 15th – Region C Tournament in Ozark, MO

March 28-30 – Missouri USA State Championships in Columbia, MO
