Bobby Douglas mini-camp a HUGE success!!!!!!!!

Bobby Douglas put on a great mini-camp at Central High School.  There where 47 wrestlers ranging in age from 6 – 18 years of age.  In addition, there were several high school, middle school, and youth coaches along with a couple of referees that participated and learned from the legendaryBobby Douglas.  Bobby shared more than just his knowledge of wrestling with the kids and coaches, he shared his life experiences with a focuss on what it takes to be a good person and how important it is to set life goals.  We are very fortunate to have a man like Bobby Douglas work with us in the Springfield area.  His heart and mind are in the right place.  IT IS ALL ABOUT THE KIDS!!!!!!

Bobby Douglas Mini Camp

There will be a Bobby Douglas mini camp this weekend at Central High School.  The camp is only $30 and will be open to youth and high school aged wrestlers.  There will be a session on Friday from 6pm-9pm and a session on Saturday from 12pm-3pm.  This is a great deal, 6 hours of coaching from an Olympic competitor, 2 time Olympic coach, NCAA coach at Iowa State and on and on……  If you are interested in attending please email your name, age, and weight to grapplemaniacs@hotmail.com.

SYWC Has a New Home at Central High School

SYWC will be moving to Central High School.  All practices for the 2008/2009 season will be held at Central High School.  The central location is essential in serving the entire city of Springfield and the surrounding areas.
